THE PROGRAM
DAY
Welcome to Irkutsk! Your journey will start from the airport where you will be greeted by the guide who knows practically everything about the nature and attractions of the Baikal region. The guide will accompany you throughout your journey.
Together you will board comfortable jeeps and set off for the Maloe More strait. The distance from the city is approximately 300 km, which is a 5 to 6 hours drive. This will not be an ordinary trip from Point A to Point B. On the way you will enjoy exciting new encounters and insights. The first stop will be at the ethnic complex, where you will meet the native hosts of this land - the Buryat people, their way of life and, of course, their cuisine. Here you will get to know such delicacies as buuz, khuushuur, boov, tarasun and other tasty yet unfamiliar sounding new dishes.
Then there will also be several other excursion stop-offs at the locally important landmarks. However, you can use the opportunity to catch up on some sleep - we will not disturb you should that be the case.

The Jeep will enable us to visit the cliffs with rock paintings and reach the magnificent viewing points. There will be a time in the journey when the asphalt road will cease and we will continue through the terrains of Tajeran steppe.
Here we will enjoy the steppe vastness of the steppe with its Martian landscape and the unusual rocks, known locally as ostantsi. The steppe is surrounded by the many wild bays of Baikal, providing you with enough of the wow-effect to last a lifetime.

We complete the day by settling on the steep shore of Lake Baikal, away from the main tourist flow and noisy hotels - just you and the lake in its archaic, paternal glory! This unique place, Baikal Prestige villa, will not only house your family: it includes the main two-storey log cabin, the sauna complex and the staff.

After a delicious breakfast we are ready for the day tour. The familiar Jeeps are already waiting - they will take us to explore Baikal's biggest island Olkhon, crossing on the ice, encountering ice grottos and the unbelievable clarity of the ice with its unique patterns.
Our Jeep tour will last throughout the entire daytime. Surrounded by dusk we will return to our cosy cabin.

Olkhon Island and Baikal Ice
VILLA «BAIKAL PRESTIGE»
DAY
Today we are departing from the villa where we already feel so at home and travel to the other shore of Baikal. We board hovercraft "Hivus" - specialised amphibious vehicle - and cross on the ice of Baikal to Listvyanka village.
On the way we stop off at Sandy bay. Here you will see the famous stilted trees - the trees' roots are exposed by the constant winds and rushes of water. You will also enjoy the picturesque cliffs and coastline. If you are lucky you will even see the still bubbles on the transparent surface of Baikal ice!
Following strolls and photo sessions we continue the journey. We arrive to Listvyanka in the evening, take a rest and then have dinner in the restaurant with a panoramic view of the estuary of River Angara, experiencing the best fish Lake Baikal has to offer.

DAY
This day after a good night's sleep and a filling breakfast we will take a stroll on the snowy paths of the Siberian Taiga. We will not be alone, however, and will have the man's best companions with us - dogs. Indeed, today we take a ride on the dog sled, will try ourselves as a musher, make fantastic photos and get lots of cuddles. Heaps of snow, Siberian Taiga smells and dog therapy awaits us!
After the day of activity we have lunch and then free time - you may choose to take a stroll along Baikal, view ice sculptures, visit a museum or Baikal seal show. In the evening we enjoy Russian sauna with dipping in River Angara
